Tracey-Anne is a watercolour artist who paints natural history; primarily British wildlife for which she has a special passion. She enjoys working in tight detail (not easy in this challenging medium), and in differing styles, which varies from simple portraits of the subject on a white background to elaborately patterned ‘frame-breaking’ paintings. Composition and a strong narrative, plus illustrating the character and behaviour of the subjects, are more important to me than realism. She is also keen to raise awareness of conservation issues in my work where possible.
As well as exhibiting locally and in national exhibitions, Tracey-Anne has also published four illustrated books and sells limited edition prints, cards, mugs and other gift items all decorated with her images of our beautiful native flora and fauna.
