Lindsay Reid – Artist

Lindsay Reid is an artist based in Kempley, on the border of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. With over thirty years of painting experience, her practice has evolved from watercolour and pastel to oil painting, her primary medium. She was taught by the late Anthony Avery of Ross-on-Wye, an influence that continues to shape her approach.

Lindsay’s work includes landscapes and street scenes, but her principal focus is British wildlife. Through careful observation and a sensitive use of light, colour, and atmosphere, she seeks to capture both the character and quiet presence of her subjects within their natural environments.
